I was able to get chirp to get past the welcome screen, but I don't remember
how I did it...something to do with jaws cursor and using the left mouse
button...once inside chirp however, it was limited in what was spoken or
accessible...I could read the radio, and get partial information from some
of the fields, but no where near enough to be able to program the radio from
the software.
I could however access import/export functions which means I could import a
CSV file and write it to the radio...so if you can make up a spread sheet
csv file with all the info you want to write to the radio, you should be
able to make it work eventually.
This was several versions of chirp ago from about 2 years ago, so i don't
know if something has changed to make it totally unusable with jfw.
I didn't find it at all useful and found programming by hand was far quicker
and easier than fighting with chirp.
