Good morning all, while doing some computer work around here I decided to make use of the HF rig, and so I went tuning through the shortwave broadcast band. And I stumbled upon a station right around 6 MHz, it was seen to be playing African music, and in what appeared to be news and commentary seem to identify itself as something related to the voice of the people? Any thoughts on what’s the station might actually be. I heard this station at approximately 625 UTC on Saturday, January 10. Just curious, because it seemed to be different than most of the broadcast stations one seems to be finding in the shortwave broadcast than these days, I think?
Just as an aside I too would like to thank Tom Baylor four putting into his shared dropbox area the ARL antenna book, when I get some time parts of it might be very interesting reading. 73 and hopefully some outstanding DX, to all.
Sincerely Maurice mines.
