A lady just did that in Sacramento a week ago and plowed into a children’s day care center. Luckily none of the kids were injured.

What about the old guy in California a few years back who craswhed into 
a crowd of people at a fruit stand and killed several.  He had been 
ticketed before and should not have been driving, I don't think they did 
a thing to him, he hig the gas instead of the break and just kept 
plowing through the crowd.  Been 7 or 8 years ago.
