I run what amounts to a carolina window, and I am throually impressed with it.  I run 135 feet, fed about 25 from one side with 450 ohm window line, then to a 4:1 balun. hen coax to th back of the rig and can work any band from 160 through 6. 80 and up work very well, 160 is of course a severe compromise, but it will still tune if you have the right feedlline length. I had to cut off some of my feed line because my dog shrewd it up and lost 160, but I never use that band anyway, so don’t honestly care about that band. The first time  got on 6 meters after getting the new balun they asked me when I got my amplifier an dhow I liked it. i told them I was nt running an amp and they said no really  turn it off  you are slamming us over here. They were in va and I am in Raleigh NC. The balun is just a home brew 4:1 on a ferrite doughnut shaped core
