I have a friend who works for an electronic company. He told me that when he gets a stack of resumes, he gives them to his secretary and tells her to separate out and eliminate all of the resumes who do not have a college degree. He says that just because someone doesn’t have a college degree doesn’t mean he might not be just as qualified as someone who does have a degree. But . . . . He has to narrow the stack down and that is the way he starts.
