Hi!
Once I set a repeater's PL tone, is it retained by the TS-2000 forever? To
clarify -
1. Suppose I set the tone during a session, but do not store anything to
memory. Then, later in another session does the TS-2000 remember the PL
tone when I go to that same repeater's frequency?
2. What if I store the repeater's information into a memory location? In
this case must I access the repeater via a memory recall so as to have the
PL tone? Or, assuming the repeater's information has been set to memory, if
I go to the repeater's frequency *not* by memory recall but instead by just
dialing it up or entering it directly, does the TS-2000 recognize the
repeater's PL tone by noticing that there is that data stored in a memory
location?
Basically, what is the easiest way to have a repeater's PL tone saved by the
TS-2000 so that you do not have to enter it each time you hit the repeater?
73,
Richard KK6MRH
