Who was the guy in the Los Angeles area who would call CQ on 20 meter
SSB, and then spend ten minutes saying things like, "Sorry old man. I
can't hear you because of my high noise level. Try it again."
Of course, his CQ almost always happened nearly on top of another QSO.
I actually caught him talking with somebody one time. I remember him
saying that he was using an HT37 and a 75A4 receiver, with some
amplifier that I don't remember.
He was busted for interference more than once, but kept right on with
his attention grabbing routine when he would get back on the air.
I don't remember his exact call, but he was a K6.
