Thanks for replying. What I was doing was answered a few weeks ago on this
ListServ and I was just testing the "HELP" command of a ListServ. What
wasn't clear to me was exactly how to get this ListServ to do what I wanted
it to do. Obviously, I didn't do something correctly. If you or anybody else
knows exactly what eMail address to send the COMMAND LINE to for the
BLIND-HAMS ListServ to act upon, please let me know.

In the earlier response that I mentioned, it contained seven pages of
command-lines for a ListServ to act upon. Pretty dull reading unless you
want the ListServ to do something specific on your account. In my case, I
want to set the command-line to a DIGEST format rather than individual
eMails. I think I know what commands to use but I was testing the simple
"HELP" command-line to make sure I got the response that I was asking for.
As it turns out, I did something wrong.

If I had done things correctly, nobody on this ListServ would have received
my message. I sincerely apologize to everyone for cluttering up your all's
inboxes...
