Colin,
Run for office and fix some of it!
Four years ago I was among the slate of people wishing to run for
Lieutenant Governor of Illinois. There were perhaps twenty people on
the slate. At the last minute, two days before the event, they asked
everyone to come to a meeting and present their qualifications. of
course I was out of town and unavailable so the person they wanted
for the job got it anyhow, but it was fun to be in the mix for a few
weeks. Stated I had no previous political experience so didn't have
to kiss anyone's butt. But it was not to be!!
