Dear List Mates,
First of all, thank you for all of the wonderful calls and emails in the aftermath of the flood that devastated our Gluten-Free Prairie Bakery here on Main St. in Manhattan, Montana...just two weeks before our scheduled Grand Opening. You can see NBC’s news report here: http://m.nbcmontana.com/news/manhattan-flooding-devastates-businesses/
The support from our Celiac community has truly touched my heart.
Last Friday the Governor declared a State of Emergency, but with no flood insurance and government aid a wild card, the future of GFP was uncertain. Today the sun is shining. All of the water is out of the Bakery and after dozens of inquiries; we set up a fundraiser to help with the repairs. In one day we raised almost $10,000. If you’d like more information, the link is on our website: www.glutenfreeprairie.com. Many more photos are on Facebook too: www.facebook.com/GlutenFreePrairie
Thank you for inspiring us to move forward with a plan to Save Gluten-Free Prairie.
We truly appreciate your support.
