This has popped up under two subject lines while i was reading so I just
added mine to the pile.
Brad was discussing how the suttle attitudes put across about homosexual
lifestyles is likely to give children a tilted life view.
I agree hole heartedly with that assumption and intend to teach my kid that
god intended us to procreate and share our lives with a spouse and I intend
to show her the happyness and peace which can be found in a relationship of
this sort.
I originally started out saying that I sure hoped that our daughter would
grow up to be a lesbian as we wouldn't have to deal with "boys and the fear
of pregnancy but I now see we can help to make such things easier by raising
Katherine right and with morals and a healthy respect for authority.
Funny this should come up just now as Terri just asked me last night, how do
you feel about her growing up to be a lesbian now?
I responded that I knew most of us grew up with questions about that sort of
thing but that in the end hetrosexuality wins out because it promotes the
continuance of life where as homosexuality would be a dead end if not for a
permissive society and I guess the tirm is a liberal government system
caught up in what the propper thing to say in order to receive enough votes
to get elected next tirm is.
It is a shame that people grow up so hurt and so in need of love that they
think that turning to a minority group for acceptance is necessary, but it
happens with gang members, as well as so called homosexuals and if they find
a way to put the propper sounding spin on it, they can live out their lives
on this earth thinking that they are doing right.
What awaits them after this life though? I don't feel like I know the
answer to that.
Maybe you folks do.
Take Care,
Matt
I'm an outy, she's an inny and we get along plenty
