Speaking of Mash, can anybody remember the Mash where Frank Burns comes up
with a new mouse trap? He goes through this long explanation of how it
works and it is a contraption that has an arm the comes down and taps the
mouse on the shoulder after he sees himself in a mirror, or some crazy
thing? Anyhow, I got to thinking about that reading Chris's explanation of
how he re mastered Brad's song and suddenly realized that's why I have put
off learning how to record like that. I understood the words Chris used, I
just ended up totally amazed that he could remember it all. Then I
remembered that mash show with Frank Burns making the mouse trap and somehow
the two things made sense and that's what scares me. It must be the season
or something because somehow, after having a huge family fight last night
and loosing the argument, this is what I get for being 51 years old and
trying to win an argument with a 21 year old, I realized it must be the
smell of Christmas trees or something in the air. Did you hear about the
guy they caught who, some place in the northern United States, cut the topes
off of pine trees so they would look like Christmas trees and shipped them
to the East coast and sold them? He shipped 27,000 trees he cut out of a
national forest. I could just see this guy climbing these tall pine trees
here in the mountains of Colorado and hanging from 70 or 80 feet off the
ground and cutting off the top 8 feet of 27,000 trees. Man, somebody should
hire that guy because he is a busy little beaver and can really put out the
work. And to think my sister said I was mentally ill two years ago and said
I should be put into a psych hospital. Maybe I'll start my own movement
called CFJ and start selling necklaces and bracelets with CFJ engraved on
them. Better yet, I could start doing Christian tattoos that have a cross
and CFJ printed in the tattoo. Say, that is some idea I just had. I have
an office with a separate entrance for prayer sessions here at the house. I
could do tattoos on the side and make a fortune. Oh, what does CFJ stand
for? Well, you know, the WWJD What Would Jesus Do thing that was so popular
for awhile? CFJ is my version of it. Crazy For Jesus. Far out, man. I
knew that LSD would catch up with me eventually and to think they said it
would never pay off, too. It just shows to go you how people can be wrong
even though they think they are right. Can you dig it? While I'm on the
subject, do you know what Midwestern hip farmers say instead of far out?
Farm out. That joke alone proves I am crazy for Jesus. I'm going to see
that sister tomorrow, she is my oldest sister, and tell her about my new
ministry and see if she will be the first person to sign up for a CFJ
tattoo. She is 62 years old but I bet she joins up. I wonder if there is a
way I can do tattoos via email. If so, using pay pal and a collection of
two billion spammed email addresses, I could be rich over night. Merry
Christmas.

Phil.
