There is a lot that you are not describing. When you mention a feed line,
is it just a continuation of the long wire to a tuner in your shack? How
long are these wires, and what bands do you intend them to work on? Having
a second long wire will probably give you a different radiation and
reception pattern, but it is practically impossible to predict what those
patterns will be.
You might be better off trying to get your single wire higher off the
ground, at least for part of its length. I hope you have a good ground in
the shack.

Subject: seperation of perpendicular long wire antennas
Group,
I am getting ready to put up a2nd long wire antenna which will run
roughly perpendicular to an existing long wire. I am guessing the two
antennas should be separated, but have not seen a resource stating how
far apart or the best method of separation. Their feed lines will run
parallel and enter the shack at the same point.
