Junior:
if you are testing the ts-2000 on CW with full carrier and power set to 100W
it should pull about 20 amps so they say...technically 100W at 13.8V should
be around 7.4 amps, but factor inefficiency and other components in the
radio requiring current, and you can more than double that figure.
How are you coming up with your 11amps? and what mode are you testing?
Don't forget, you do have a cw carrier level adjustment on the radio, and if
that is not turned up all the way, you won't see the full 100w out on cw.
Do you have a tw1 to check your RF output?
