Many years ago, I had a full wave 80 meter loop fed at the top with 300 ohm
twin lead.
It worked well, but the radiation angel was very high on 80 meters.
It would have been low if I could have fed the antenna on the bottom.
I cut out the bottom 120 feet wire which turned it in to an inverted vee.
It worked better on most bands, but I lost 160.
