Are the new features for the VR Stream software updates that one can get
from their website and download to install on the VR Stream or are these new
features on a completely new Stream, requiring the purchase of a new device?
I purchased the first version of the VR Stream, but it could not be updated
by software to the current features, e.g. internet radio. I purchased the
second version, and I absolutely love it. I used to use the VR Stream
entirely for listening to NLS books and for some recording, but now, with
the new one, I use it for listening to internet radio most all of the time.

Butch, I hope the new podcast feature on the Stream will be as easy as their
internet radio search system. Shouldn't have to wait long, the update
should be out maybe this week?? Jim WA6EKS

I haave a book port dt and you have to enter the url for each station you
want. I had problems getting our local am station to work. The new victor
stream is fantastic. You can search by rock, country or whatever, or you
can enter text. I found our local station in ten seconds and saved it to my
favorites with one button. That simple.
They do radio right as far as I'm concerned. You can for example, enter
blind as search criteria and come up with several reading services.
