I have something made by g4tph of similar construction to the alpha loop I think.

I was not too impressed.  I think the bolted together sections create extra resistance in the loop.

I will send you a pdf article on mag loops.  resistances of tenths of ohms is to be avoided.

it may take me a couple of days to run it down.
