One thing you might want to ask is if the fan in the switching supply
runs all the time. I think it is stupid to design something that the
fan runs all the time even when not needed as m f j does in their
supply. There was actually an article 3 or 4 years ago in q s t that
told how to build a temperature control for the particular m f j supply
I have. I'm not good enough to solder on pc boards, so never got that
done, but I don't use that supply much any how unless I go portable
somewhere. Maybe I just like lots of iron. hi hi.
