Normally, the positive or hot, or red color coded lead is the one you need
to be most aware of. If it accidentally comes in contact with the chassy of
any piece of your gear, it could cause serious damage to something, a
dangerous spark, a kloud snapping noise, blow a fuse, or if you accidentally
touch the positive lead with one part of your exposed body while at the same
time touching some other piece of gear or something that is grounded, it can
shock the hell out of you! There's lots of first-hand experience talking
here! <lol> I like Mike's suggest of attaching a short zip tie to the
positive lead, but be sure to pull it up snug so it won't slip off without
you realizing it.
