I use ring terminals where connecting to the power supply if your power 
supply  has the bolts for the connection and not the holes with the screw to 
clamp on the wire, crimp is perfectly fine. I also use Anderson power poles 
to make for easier changing around if need be but at the power supply end, 
if the power supply has the bolt type terminals, definitely use ring 
terminals, don't rap the wire around. I've seen a lot of problems over the 
years just rapping the wire around the bolt including at the EOC I volunteer 
at. I went in with ring terminals and my crimp tool and fixed that. Many 
will tell you a good crimp connection is just as good as a soldered 
connection.
