Regardless of Kenwood's excuse, it should not take this long to fill these
VGS1 backorders. I've worked with many firms with inventory planning,
control, inventorying and backordering problems, and even those companies
that use the "Just in Time" (JIT) inventory control system ,don't take this
long to fill orders. I purchased my TS590 in November and still don't have
my VGS1 voice module. Someone in Kenwood totally messed up this promotion,
and it is a good example of a firm whose marketing, production, and
inventory/distribution are not communicating with each other. This should
never happen with a well organized, coordinated company.
