I did away with LP filters some time  ago.   The improvements in radios, 
the change to cable  years ago, and the  digital changeover a few  years 
back have made TVI only  a slight possibility compared to the way it 
used to be.

Take it out of the system and see if you really need it.   Less 
complexity, fewer jumpers and connectors will give you  fewer potential 
problem spots.

Some people put it at the radio output, some at the amp output, and 
some use 2 filters and do both.
