Hi;
Tom you should have a friend take a look at that window. Worked in a
office full of windows that couldn't or shouldn't be opened. We were up
on the 13th floor near lake Erie and once folks figured out how to open
them we got the nicest breeze. Obviously that didn't last long. Not
sure if they were concern ed about the air conditioning or worried that
an upset employee might play superman. If yours can be briefly opened
just to get a cable out and then locked your problem might be solved.
We won't discuss how you fit ham radio into your work day. We had a
piano tuning teacher back in the day who apparently got his students
working and then fired up the kwm2 and 30l1 amplifier to chat with his
friends. The station supposedly was for the students but there was
never any organized attempt to help students get their ticket.
Best of luck
