Are you changing the band on the TW-2 for the right band? If not, I'd 
suspect maybe RF feedback? I've never seen that with them but myself and 
many see issues similar with the LDG external auto tuners which is why even 
in my go kit I won't use one anymore. I see it more on the MARS frequencies 
than the ham bands but see it on the ham bands as well so if there are 
similar components in the TW-2, it could be something like that. I only use 
my TW-2 for testing and take it out of line when I'm done due to losses of 
having more things inline. The TW-1 I use all the time though.
