Just wondering if anyone on the list has experience with the
Jabra 9350e headset mic? It is a cordless system that works in
the same portion of the spectrum as cell phones I guess. Some
local hams are using them and the audio is great. You do have to
use it in VOX mode so that would rule out using it with a
TMP-71A, but it would great with most HF rigs including the TS480
mentioned below. So I'm interested in hearing reports about this
headset Mic. 73, Jim WA6EKS

Their is an optional rj12 cable that goes from the control head
of the 480
to the body of the radio. With mike and paddle extention cables,
operation
from the coffee table, easy chair, or couch is equally pheasible.
If you do
a lot of listening, this can be especially fun.
An external speaker is also a nice addition to the station.
The internal tuner will tune an antenna with a 6/1 SWR. Almost
everything
talks, except for the internal power and SWR meter.
