Hi Matt,

Yeah, the occasional tone or what have you breaking through isn’t a big deal to me. 

As to the other problems, I agree; I’d rather have them than not have the link.

If I didn’t want Echolink, I’d take it off.

But it does make for a nice way to chat with my ham friends in Texas.

Sometimes HF just doesn’t allow for that. 

And I like being able to walk around with a handheld and
keep up with the folks I used to hang out with.
