Hi everyone,
I must respectfully disagree. I have been using the IC-703+ (Which operates identically to the IC706) for the last seven years very successfully. The radio is very accessible with a menu system that one can navigate pretty well. Setting power output is problematic unless you've got a device like the TW1. Otherwise, you'll need sighted assistance, unless you just want to set max or minimum power.
