Eric,

I took a quick look on eBay to see what you could get for $600 or less, and
there were several older Kenwood HF transceivers available in that price
range, e.g. TS-440's, TS-940's, TS-570, TS-850's, etc. I have no idea their
condition or if any of them had the speech modules in them or not. I just
wanted to see what was available in that price range. I know lots of people
are skeptical about purchasing anything from eBay, but I have purchased lots
of things from eBay with no problems.
