Mike, if your objective was to get rid of all the garbage characters, you
were totally successful! Your message was perfect; no weird = or =20 garbage
at all!

Eudora is an excellent program. I used it for many years, and regret
switching to Outlook.

I'm now testing Eudora 7.1 to see if this is better.
I've got it set to plain txt but don't think it will make a diff.
If this don't work, will give up email on my ham netbook.
