Just to be sure:

Are you asking for an SWR check with the Cobra on 60 meters or 160
meters????

One thing I probably should point out is that, for reasons I have yet to
fully understand, I can't get my cobra to tune well on 40 meters. I think
it might have something to do with my antenna arrangements here, and
possible coupling interactions with other antennas I have outside, but am
not totally sure on that.

This is why I always use my Alpha Delta DXCC antenna for 40 meters, with
reasonably good results.

Anyway, please clarify the band you want me to check with the Cobra, and
I'll see what I can do.

I am thinking ahead. My kx-3 has a broad tuner in it. It will match
anything under 10/1.
Unfortunately, my antenna has a 11/1 SWR on 40, and an infinate SWR on 60
meters.
I have been thinking about a cobra for a long time.
Can anybody who has one, check the SWR with out a tuner on 60 meters and
tell me what it is?
Thanks! I can use the manual tuner naturally, but if you have internal auto
tuners it might be nice to use them.
