Well, it would be useful to be able to check both meters since
grid current is important in determining whether the amp will go
non-linear.

Remember that what meters display differs on different amps. For
example,
my Henry 5K Classic has a plate current meter and a meter that
switches
between plate voltage and grid current. Some amps have separate
meters for
each parameter.

The second meter is grid current oly. The first meter is
switchable between

plate current and voltage.

So what does that second meter monitor?

Well, you probably could do that but I don't know if there would
be a
convenient way to mount the switch. I chose not to monitor the
other
 meter,
since the main meter has a switch to monitor plate voltage or
current.

 Thanks steve for that link.=20
Could essentially a device be built with lets say, 2
connections, a =
switch and both grid and plate current be monitored?=20
