Jim,
We discussed this yesterday on 40 meters and thanks again for trying
this for those who don't have HF or who don't live in an area with
good propagation at net times.
I had played around with Echolink a number of years ago to chat with a
friend in Romania who had to sell his HF station. I just checked and
found it no longer resides on either of my pc's, so downloaded the
latest version. Looks like I need to do something in the router for UDP
port forwarding or whatever, but will be heading out for a church
service so not likely i will be able to join you tonight.
A number of people expressed interest in something like this, and I'm
glad you stepped up to the plate. Hope some others join you.
