Why not include an Echolink night if someone's willing to setup and run a conference server to handle those who wanna have an Echolink chat for an hr or so.
Keep in mind this is completely informal. What I propose is on a Saturday night, one of us listers simply post I'm on 7.155 for example and who wants to hang out can jump on the band and hang out.
You could take an opposite night or an earlier time period and open up a conference server, post it to the list and those who want to hang out on echolink can do so.
I don't use Echolink my self, primarily an HF guy but we could do it.
Now I won't be out to the shack for another 2 weeks but if someone wants to run with the idea than lets do it. If not, next time I'm on the air, I'll post the time and freq and hopefully we can have a 40M mobbing. LOL
