Hi all:

Anyone active on 10/6M lately?
What have the conditions been like? I might be moving from the 10/11M mobile to a 10/6/2/70CM TYT TH-9800 as this comes with a remote head and all the cables. We have a Kia and the interior is cloth and plastic and my XYL is not sure she wants a big honking radio mounted on the dash with holes drilled in the dash to hold it.
Plus, I'd have to remove it when I'm not in the car fear of it being stolen when my XYL is at work or when we're in for the night. The TH-9800 would allow me to mount it in the trunk, possibly make for better grounding and I'm guessing that the remote head dock mounts by way of sucker feet, similar to my satellite receiver used to. No biggy as I could mount the holder on the windshield and just unplug the remote when leave the car. The importer is also willing to program in A.M 11M channels for me, which could serv.
