Mag mounts usually if not always come with coax, I've never seen one that
doesn't. It's a short run and you don't want to extend it, IMO you don't
need hard line, and for a mag mount the 10 feet or so with it is all I'd run
in the stuff they come with. If you want to go any longer than that,
especially if you're in tight quarters, apartment, trailer park, good coax
is key to not interfering and getting the signal out. If you only want to
run what comes with the mag mount and not add to it, you may be OK but any
longer run or putting a base antenna up, I'd get the best you can get your
hands on even if you have to get used from a trust worthy person. It's well
worth it.
