Hi

Growing up, people kept asking me if I wanted to be like Ronnie when I was
an adult. After all I did play guitar. I grew to have a strong dislike for
the poor fellow even though I had no idea who he was. Smile. Then after
arriving at adulthood, I finally heard him, and yes, he is a fine singer,
and musician. Also, people aren't asking me what I am going to be when I
grow up. Smile.

God bless,
Mark

John, Ronnie must be getting about as old as the rest of us on
this list. I haven't heard any music from him in years and never
heard him on the air. I must admit that I don't listen to very
much country music. It is really interesting to explore the
roots like delta blues, traditional jazz, folk, bluegrass,
country, and old spirituals to listen for the similarities
though I am not an authority on this stuff. I can't
believe how much music there is out there even in the area I
mainly listen too and play that being traditional jazz and swing,
with which I am not familiar. 73, Jim WA6EKS

Hi Jim, yes, I play guitar and do mainly country and old rock and
roll,
you know, the good stuff! GRIN! There are several musicians,
mainly,
Ronnie Milsap, WB4KCG. To bad we couldn't get him on the list!
GRIN!
