Hi, Kelvin.

Thanks for the clarification on the Grid Square issue.

AC Log is one software package I am glad I bought.

Hi Tom and All,

The Other fields are very flexible, and can be labelled for
any purpose.
For instance, you could have one to mark with a 'Y' when
you've worked a
member from this list! The figures will then also appear
when you calculate
totals.

Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

Mike:

Matt and I discussed this question on the phone earlier this
afternoon, as I
was helping him with some other A C Log issues.

I encouraged him to post the question on the list, since I
wasn't sure of
the best answer.

I think Grid Square may be recorded automatically, but may
be hidden from
normal view as we tab through the various data fields in the
software.

We discussed the idea of entering the grid square in one of
the "other"
fields as you suggested, but I'm not sure that is necessary.

Let's see if any other A C log users with more experience
than me can
clarify the question, since a number of us will obviously
benefit from the
correct info.

Matt,

I am a new user of AC Log as well.

Someone else who has used it longer than me may want to jump
in on this one,
but here is my guess.

There are several fields that appear as "Other" when you tab
through them.

Somewhere in the settings menu there is a way to label one
or more of those
fields with specific labels.

My guess is that you label one of those fields for Grid
Square.
