Glad you seem to have gotten things worked out, Richard.

As you say, two tuners is not a good idea.

And, yes, it is easy to accidentally activate the internal auto-tuner,
especially in the TS480, since the control head is movable, and the buttons
are quite close together.

My problem seems to have resolved itself other than ten meters.  Not totally
certain how it was fixed although I am using an external tuner at the
antenna and I think the internal tuner may have accidentally turned on.  Two
tuners is not a good idea.
