Oops, should have said "toggle insert-s" and not "alt-s" in JAWS.
2 other things:
Don't overdrive your sound card input. You may have to bring it way
down (10 % or even less). I don't know if MMTTY still has the
"overload" warning that will flash on the screen and may be picked up
by JAWS if the sound card level is too high.
Also, in MMTTY, bring up the "profiles" drop down menu with alt-s.
You can arrow through about 6 different profiles such as "standard
rtty", "fluttered signals", "multipath", etc. Try each in turn and see
what works best. They all have different parameters and one may work
better at a given time.
