Subject: Off topic, but very good news
Good afternoon from Phoenix, As most of you all know, I have been battling
cancer for about 5 years now. Being that my cancer had found its way into
my lymph system, it was deemed incurable. I have been hospitalized 21 times
since the original diagnosis, mostly for surgeries. I had been given 5
years max to live.
Yesterday morning I went in for a standard 6 month checkup and status
report, I was informed that my cancer is completely dormant, and that if it
ever should return to action, it would likely be a long time in the future.
So, for the first time in 5 years, the load of certain and imminent death
has been lifted off of my shoulders. What may come along at some future
date isn't something I am going to worry about, or let get me down. Many,
many hams around the world have been giving me tremendous support and
praying for me. It appears that our prayers have been answered. Thanks to
all of you!

I realize that my message is well off topic, but because a lot of you know
what I have been dealing with, I have decided to post this message.
