Don, Memories don't save the power level. I wish they did but my experience
is the same as yours.

Subject: TS480 guru's step up to the plate:
I have the radio and after getting it repaired of course it was back at
factory settings.
No problem, I went in to the menu and set menu 02 to auto so it would know
when to change modes depending on the band.
That works well but for one problem.
When I go to the 10 meter fm portion of the band it stays in sideband and I
have to switch it to fm. It wasn't like that before. What am I missing?
Second question for the guru.
On 10 meter fm it says the power is 100 watts, I thought it was supposed to
automatically cut it down to 25 watts on 10 fm and further more isn't a
memory channel supposed to be able to store the power level?
I set up a memory for a 10 meter fm repeater with the power set at 25 watts
but it doesn't seem to remember the power level.
Any guidance appreciated.
