Hi Group,

I have been in contact with a ham operator who just purchased the brand 
new Uniden BCD536HP HomePatrol Digital Mobile Scanner. It is quite pricy 
at a list price of $649.99. He loves it and from what I can hear over 
the air (yes he did play a bit of it over the 2 Meter band for folks to 
hear,) it sounds great.

I am wondering if anyone has experience with this and how easy it would 
be to use for a blind person--particularly the software. Note that if 
the software is accessible, that programming is a wiz. See below taken
