There was another list started a couple years ago called, I think, the 
blind-ham-ops list.  I think its still up and running but hardly anyone 
posts anything there now. It was fine, but this one was already well 
established and after a while it just dormant for lack of use.  Of course, 
when it was used several folks posted on both lists which I found to be a 
pain as you'd get 2 copies of everything.  I'd be in favor of a different 
list but it would probably be best for all of us if this list was moved 
lock, stock and barrel to another listserv. I've never administered a list 
so I don't know what that would entail. And we'd certainly have to get the
