Michael,
I have never used one of Larry's LP100's, but my guess is that it can be
used with a screen reader. I know Larry, and I will ask him if he knows of
any blind users of his meter. As for my Power Master 2, yes, I read it
perfectly fine with Window Eyes, which is the screen reader that I use. I
can not only read the forward and reflected power, as well as the SWR, but I
can also configure the meter as a sighted user can do. There are a number
of alarms to be configured, items such as what you want the meter to do when
alarm conditions are met. For example, do I want the meter to interrupt the
amplifier key line if SWR reaches a certain value. Or, do I want the meter
to interrupt the amp key line, if my power output exceeds a preset value.

Alan:
Since you might be familiar with the higher end meters discussed, when
connected to a PC, does your screen reader announce all what the meter
presents through the software? Also, is there a TW-1 variable tone mode for
tubed equipment and manual antenna tuners? As most of us are running screen
reader equiped PCs maybe that's the way to go. I don't know how long my
TW-1 will last but it be nice to know there's something available I could
buy.
