Yeah, Steve, I may try Firefox here as well at least as an alternate.
I'm seeing more and more of this kind of stuff with Windows 7 and especially
Internet Explorer.
At least I know I'm not alone! (grin)

I can't be much help here, except to say that I have kind of, sort of seen
the same thing. In my case, these windows disappear almost immediately,
although the notification window sometimes needs me to hit the escape key.
This all became more pronounced a week or 2 ago when this Windows 7
computer did an update to IE 11. No other problems with the new browser
version and those windows popping up are not a big deal here.
I always keep the Firefox browser updated on the pc, since there are
sometimes sites that don't work as well with IE as I would like.
