I think the window is being displayed by Windows 7.

I never saw it in Windows XP, and I believe I was using Internet Explorer 9
on my old XP machine before I retired it in December.

That sounds like a windows 7 problem more than a QrZ problem.  Can you tell
if that window is being displayed by your browser or the OS?  I've gotten my
old laptop working again and have happily abandoned win 7.  However I
