Hi Steve

I only knew him in the same way, and recall his intelligent and informed
input to this list.

I had a few QSO's with him - a distance of 6,000 miles on CW at about 30WPM.
Also, a great affection toward him stimulated by having visited Washington
State to which he moved from Idaho.

I had a bit of an email exchange with Kathie following his ascending to the
great shack in the sky, but this dwindled.

David,

I'm sorry, but really don't know anything. While I knew him from the
list, an occasional QSO, and very infrequent off list e-mail's, others
here may have had more contact with him and may know more.

He was a nice guy and a great operator.
