Hi
Well, I am thinking that if one tries a very low power level you may be able
to get a little power out. This is if there is a SWR issue. One needs to be
very careful in case there is some reactance that is not showing up on the
gages some how. I am not sure what else to suggest. Sometimes. changing coax
length helps. However, there is no guarantee.
God bless,
Mark

Subject: IC7000 and ATU
Dear colleagues, I write to you for the following question / issue with =
my
DLG IT-100 ATU.I have an Ic-7000 and a W8010 Original Diamond multiband
Antenna.=20
I think I have carried out the connections correctly.=20
In the upper HF bands (up to 14.000HZ) everything works perfectly and =
the
ATU works well, but in the inferior bands (3.000-7.000-10.000-14.000hz) =
the
ATU doesn't work propertly, I am not able to couple the antenna with
IC -7000.
The IC-7000 display indicates "tunning..." and the beep sounds, but =
nothing
happens. I think the connections are correct and the antenna SWR is not
major than 2.
There are any issue or thing I can do?
I see that in the upper hf bands, the S-metter in the IC-7000 moves to
indicate the RF power. In 20, 40 or 80M, S-metter don=92t move.
RF power is set to max, and I try with different values in different =
bands.
Sorry for my bad bad English.
Waiting for your answer,
Miguel (EA3GZA) =20
