Hopefully the moderator will permit it!

On another ham radio list I met up with Chet Atkins' nephew who,
unfortunately, died in December 2012 just four months before I was going to
meet him in the USA.
HIS CALL WAS w0cgr - JUST TO KEEP IT ON HAM RADIO!

My trumpet player in my Great Pacific Jazz Band when I lived in Los =
Angeles was Reubin (Zeke) Zarchy. He played lead trumpet with Goodman, =
Artie Shaw, Bob Crosby, and many other bands before WW II. Then played =
lead trumpet in the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band during WW II. Then =
moved to Los Angeles and became a studio musician.=20
