Hi John, it depends what keyboard you are using, but the Google keyboard
seems to work well for me.  When you move your finger over the letters,
talkback will speak them, but nothing should be typed, until you lift
your finger.  this is called touch tiping.  The I-phone has 2 methods of
working, one is touch typing and the other is slower, because you have to
double tap every letter you want to type.  A BlueTooth keyboard would
probably help you as far as entering data etc, but you would then have to
carry 2 pieces of equipment with you!
